Micronutrient deficiencies remain one of the most pervasive forms of malnutrition globally, with substantial public health and economic consequences. Despite global progress in food fortification programs and regulations, many fortified foods still fail to meet national standards. While governments must enforce and monitor regulations, industry players—including micronutrient and premix producers—are crucial to ensuring effective fortification across the value chain.

To bring awareness to this issue and to highlight key challenges and best practices from ATNi’s VitaMin Premix Supplier Assessment, ATNi is hosting a high-level virtual event: ‘Beyond Quality: Responsible Business Practices for Improved Fortification’.
