Event

A critical moment to give new momentum to nutrition and the fulfilment of the commitments registered one year earlier at Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Paris.

Sustaining nutrition momentum after N4G Paris: a stocktaking moment

This invite-only G7 side event at the One Health Summit, co-hosted by ATNi (Access to Nutrition initiative) and the Ministère de l’Europe et des Affaires étrangères, in collaboration with the Global Health Advocates, the Global Nutrition Report, and UN Nutrition will mark one year since the commitments made at Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Paris.

Bringing together representatives from governments, civil society, UN agencies, and the private sector, the event will provide an opportunity to reflect on the implementation journey so far, consider achievements since N4G Paris, and discuss priorities for continued mobilization of the private sector for nutrition and collective action.

Background:

The N4G Summit, hosted by France, took place in Paris on 27-28 March, 2025. This global pledging event united heads of state, development banks, philanthropies, civil society, private sector actors, and researchers to recommit to ending malnutrition in all its forms. Almost 600 commitments were registered, totalling approximately USD 30.5 billion, contributed by 127 delegations from 106 countries.

With the goal of catalysing a paradigm shift, the Summit focused on integrating nutrition into broader development frameworks—spanning health, agriculture, education, climate, gender equality, data and innovation, and crisis resilience—while seeking to close a global funding gap. The Paris Summit reaffirmed multilateral commitment to nutrition and advanced critical mechanisms like the Global Nutrition Report mananged Nutrition Accountability Framework, alongside launching coalitions such as the Global Compact on Nutrition Integration and the Paris Declaration on Business & Nutrition 2030.

France, which assumes the G7 presidency in 2026, has underlined the importance of global health security, including nutrition, as a cornerstone of its leadership—signalling a strong commitment to integrate nutrition into its international agenda.

The event will be compliant with the N4G Principles of Engagement.

More information will be shared in due course.
