Product profiling results discussed in Mexico

A roundtable to discuss the approach to, and results of, ATNI’s Product Profiling exercise was hosted in Mexico City by Dr Juan Rivera, a member of ATNF Independent Advisory Panel. Carried out by an expert team led by Dr Mike Rayner at Oxford University, this pilot study evaluated the nutritional quality of a large sample of products sold by the ten largest F&B manufacturers in Mexico. ATNI is interested in hearing from other organisations involved in nutritient profiling, particularly those with open-access databases of the nutritional composition or quality of foods and beverages.
