ATNi Seeks Consultants in Bangladesh for Healthy Starts Project
12 September 2025ATNi (Access to Nutrition initiative) is seeking qualified consultants in Bangladesh to support its Healthy Starts project which aims to improve complementary feeding (CF) practices and prevent child wasting in children under five.
Healthy Starts is a strategic initiative focused on enhancing Infant and Young Child Nutrition (IYCN) in both urban and rural settings in Kenya and Bangladesh. The project investigates the political economy and nutritional quality of locally available CF products—both commercial and non-commercial—with the goal of fostering public-private partnerships, encouraging responsible industry practices, and supporting government-led nutrition programs.
ATNi is currently recruiting for two key consultancy roles in Bangladesh:
1. Product & Market Engagement Consultant
This consultant will work closely with ATNi’s IYCN team to:
- Provide strategic input on a political economy brief.
- Map local and international producers of CF and SQ-LNS products.
- Verify and expand product lists, assist with product profiling, and support data transcription and cleaning.
- Offer contextual insights throughout the research process.

2. Policy and Field Research Consultant
This role focuses on stakeholder engagement and policy influence, including:
- Identifying and interviewing key informants such as caregivers and healthcare providers, as well as other stakeholders such as government representatives
- Developing and executing an engagement plan.
- Supporting dissemination of findings to government and other relevant actors.
- Contributing to the political economy brief and ensuring policy recommendations are locally grounded and actionable.

Proposals should include:
- A brief overview of your company and team
- A portfolio showcasing at least three relevant projects
- A detailed project plan outlining the estimated timeline, availability, and cost breakdown with a maximum budget of EUR 15,000.
- References from previous clients or collaborators
- A formal declaration of honour
Deadline for Submission
The deadline for proposal submission is 17:00 CET on 25 September 2025. Please note that applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and ATNi reserves the right to close the submission window prior to the stated deadline if a suitable candidate is identified.
