Mr. Ajieroh is a trained nutritionist who has worked at the intersection of food systems, nutrition and public health for over 20 years. Victor has made extensive contributions to the progress of nutrition across sectors, working for Unilever in West Africa from 2010 to 2014, for the Nigerian Government in 2014 and 2015 and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) from 2015 until 2022. Victor also serves on the board of the World Vegetable Center.  Victor is well placed to drive ATNi’s engagement work with companies to help deliver improved accountability tools and to bring to the Board a deeper understanding of market transformation needs in Africa – the continent with the fastest growing population and food retail sector.

Mr. Nyenhuis is currently President and CEO of UNICEF USA and serves on the Board of InterAction. He has led a stellar career running several global NGOs, including Americares from 2014 until 2020 and MAP International from 2000 until 2014.  Michael works passionately towards improving children’s health and wants to see business interests better aligned with child outcomes. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in fundraising and organizational management as well as an extensive, high-impact network.

ATNi also takes this opportunity to express sincere gratitude to its outgoing and longstanding Chair, Paulus Verschuren. Paulus has been ATNi Chair since 2016, overseeing the steady growth of ATNi. He actively coached ATNi’s ED and team during ATNi’s strategy refresh process leading to the approval of ATNi’s new 2023-2028 Strategy.  ATNi welcomes existing ATNi Board Member, Frank Wagemans, as its Interim Chair.
