Product profiling results discussed in Mexico
13 February 2014A roundtable to discuss the approach to, and results of, ATNI’s Product Profiling exercise was hosted in Mexico City by Dr Juan Rivera, a member of ATNF Independent Advisory Panel. Carried out by an expert team led by Dr Mike Rayner at Oxford University, this pilot study evaluated the nutritional quality of a large sample of products sold by the ten largest F&B manufacturers in Mexico. ATNI is interested in hearing from other organisations involved in nutritient profiling, particularly those with open-access databases of the nutritional composition or quality of foods and beverages.
